Let’s unite and do it together! You support our mission - we deliver help and hope!
The World is not a safe place anymore! Unfortunately not everybody have a privilege to live in piece and follow the dreams. But we believe that the power of compassion is the right way for community to stay strong and support each other in these hard times!
Today we are busy giving a helping hand to moms and dads who had to change their lives completely and came to the United States from the war zones in hope of a brighter future for their children.
Let’s get together and lift up people who left all they had behind and have to start everything from zero.
All donations are going directly to support immediate needs of the local families who came from war zones. Groceries, housing, backed up bills, childcare, medical insurance, and much more to help people settle and feel that they are not alone in their struggles.
Ukrainian children hold a very special place in the hearts of our community members. Thanks to their generous donations KINi staff has been traveling in previous years to visit with the children residing in orphanages and boarding schools as well as children from low income families all over Ukraine since 2019. Assessing the needs of these precious children and helping on the spot with basic humanitarian needs has always been our outmost priority. Whether it was clothing and hygiene items for hundreds of children, medicine, school supplies, firewood or grocery delivery at the time of lockdowns thousands of miles have not stopped us from helping those in need.
So many local families have also made it possible for orphans to come to the United States for summer and winter breaks through KINi hosting program. Although our hosting program is put on hold due to the critical war situation, these beautiful children are still in touch with their mentors, because not only they made friends, learned English, had their medical needs addressed but most importantly experienced love and care from their host families and will remain supported and cared for!
Our hearts ache with the people of Ukraine and other countries effected by war as we watch images of devastation and listen to the stories of families fleeing the war. Today, more than ever before, the most vulnerable - the children - are in need of our help.
WHO WE ARE
How often do you hear the phrase “there is no such thing as other people’s children”. Yet somehow hundreds of thousands of children are living in poverty, growing up in institutions, are abused and/or neglected by the very ones who are supposed to care for them. Every time you encounter a story about a child’s suffering, your heart sinks. You might ask yourself “What can be done? We are dreaming to find people who would like to be a part of a child’s life. There are so many ways you can make a difference, make someone feel happy and needed.
